The Enpu reciprocating bus/truck washer is a fully integrated machine specifically engineered for cleaning buses, large tankers, and similar vehicles. Powered by Schneider Electric's PLC control system, it employs an automated brush mechanism that senses contact pressure to maintain optimal brush-to-body distance, ensuring thorough cleaning without damage. This innovative solution eliminates cleaning blind spots while maintaining complete surface coverage. Widely adopted in China's public transportation networks and bus terminals, it primarily serves exterior cleaning operations. The system comprises a gantry structure, top brush assembly, vertical brush assembly, travel mechanism, electronic control unit, and linear guide conveyor arm.
① The main frame of the gantry structure is constructed from galvanized steel plates (3mm-8mm thick). After laser cutting to precisely position each component, the plates are bent using a bending machine. The finished parts undergo sandblasting, galvanizing, and painting before being assembled with mortise-and-tenon joints.
② Top brush assembly (1 unit): Composed of a rotating mechanism and a lifting mechanism. The lifting mechanism, driven by a motor, rotates the wheels on both sides, which are equipped with nylon straps to connect the top brush section for vertical movement.
③ The large vertical brush components (2 pieces) consist of a pair of large vertical brush rotating devices. Driven by the extension and retraction actions of the cylinder, the large vertical brushes move left and right. The left and right extension and retraction of the large vertical brushes are achieved by increasing and decreasing the resistance between the brush strips and the car surface.
④ Walking system: mounted on the base on both sides, the chain wheel and walking wheel are driven by the deceleration transmission system, so that the car washer walks along the guide rail.
⑤ The electric control system is installed in the electric control cabinet of the rack, and the automatic control of the car washer is realized through the computer touch screen. The core of the control system is the programmable controller, which controls the top brush, the large vertical brush and the walking through the detection of the photoelectric sensor and the proximity switch and the control of the current sensor.
⑥ Mobile cable tray conveyor arm: Water, electrical, and pneumatic lines are insulated and protected against wear, with a 100% safety factor.
