The three-bladed flat impeller is a radial flow type mixing impeller, mainly generating horizontal circumferential flow. It forms vertical circulating flow when baffles are installed, and is typically operated under transitional flow conditions. Performing similarly to the two-bladed flat impeller at low speeds, it delivers a certain shearing force at high speeds. It is suitable for operations including dissolution, mixing, dispersion, liquid-phase reaction and heat transfer.
